  @bikegeekmtdx Right on, man. Look forward to it. I just bought a 2011 Giant Escape II. We have this bike ride here in OK called the Oklahoma Freewheel, it goes from TX to KS (500 Miles roughly). That device is something I’d like to have. I bought the Denali at first, but it just didn’t set right with me. I’m 5’9″, the 27cm height was just too uncomfortable. When I got the bike in, I was impressed otherwise. Also had some derailer issues, but nothing serious. Cool bike.

  @Goony03 It’s a Bell Wireless speedometer. They have a newer style at Walmart for around $20. I will have newer videos up soon of my 2010 denali.

  @llaboy2000 For that, you’ll probably have to remove the handlebar tape to access any screws or bolts. I’ve never had a problem with mine, so I couldn’t tell you exactly how to do it.

  @HerezBS You may have some difficulty being only 5′ (no offense). I was about 5’5″ when I got this bike… The newer Denalis are an inch or so taller than the 2006 model in this vid.

  I’ve had pretty good luck with big box store bicycles- good reliability and fun rides. I feel much less paranoid when I have to leave one locked up unattended than my “real” bicycles.

  I bought the yellow version of this bike as my first bike in my life from Amazon last week. It is more complicated than I imagine as the gear doesn’t shift properly. What happen is initially I am not able to go form 3 to 1, the gear stays at 2 even though I turn the shifter to 1. Then I go turn the barrel adjuster, now I won’t be able go from 7 to 6.
  Did this happen to you too?
